EXPÉRIENCE 4 is a free outdoor showcase taking place on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Esplanade Tranquille in Montréal as part of MUTEK Montréal 2026, starting at 17:00. The programme traverses ambient, techno, bass, electronica and hybrid electronic forms, culminating in a surprise performance and a closing DJ set.

aria (CA), the project of Dan Driscoll, delivers a hardware-based, dub-rooted live set entitled "A Fine Line Between Crises and Opportunity", developed during his recovery from leg amputation and drawing on bass, dancehall, downtempo, dub and jungle.

Vancouver/Tehran-based ArtSaves (IR/CA) presents the world premiere of "Survival of the Weakest", an experimental work weaving ambient, noise and dance textures. Toronto twin duo Matt & Mark Thibideau (CA) bring their dubby, minimal techno sound built on vintage hardware, rooted in their label Obsolete Components.

Montreal sound artist Vivian Li (CN/CA) offers the Canadian premiere of "Sonic Memories", an immersive piece exploring memory and healing through drones and field recordings.
